My name is Theresa and I'm from Salt Lake City, UT.
I'm a senior at Utah State University, studying Math education with a Stats composite. My goal is to teach in Middle schools/Junior High. Everyone says I'm crazy for that,
which I would agree with, but I feel like they are an important age group and I can do much good with them. When I'm not working on assignments or in class you will most likely
find me at home watching tv, baking/cooking, or listening to a true crime podcast. I also love sports, traveling around the world, spending time with my family,
and going out with friends.
My ethnic background plays a huge role in who I am. Both of my parents are immigrants from Ghana (dad) and Tonga (mom). Because of that, I love
learning about my cultures and participating in cultural events. I am a part of the Pacifica Student Union here at USU, which involves participating in our annaul Lu'au and other events happening in Utah.
I am proud of my heritage and hope to help students be proud of who they are.
