Spirals

Spirals are seen and used all over the world in various forms, a prime example is this hypnosis spiral above that was created by Sir James Fraser in 1908("Fraser spiral illusion",2020). All you need to do is walk outside and look around, turn on the news or even watch a few movies. Because spirals have always existed naturally, people became interested in recreating them. In early BC times, some old men found a way to quantify spirals which led to further discoveries in their usefulness. We will explore who those men were, why their contribution was significant, and yes, learn how to make the perfect spiral using math.
