Applets Description
Factorial Calculator with Expanded Form This applet allows you to calculate factorials that cannot be found on hand held calculators, or by hand.
Factorial Graph This applet allows you to manipulate and compare the graph of the factorial function, along with other functions that use factorials.
Rolling Two Dice This applet aids you in doing probability calculations with factorials. This is explained more in my project webpage.
Binomial Series Interactive Applet This applet explores the concept of a binomial series approximating a function. The binomial series uses factorials in its definition.
Taylor and Maclaurin Series Interactive Applet This applet allows you to explore the Taylor and Maclauring Series examples. Both the Taylor and Maclauring Series use factorials in their calculations.

Applet Collections Description
Applets for the Teacher This applet collection is sectioned off by grade level and topics. Some topics include algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus.
Math, Physics, and Engineering Applets This applet collection allows you to visualize various concepts in math, physics, and engineering. Such concepts include waves and oscillations, vector calculus, and thermodynamics.
Henri Picciotto's Math Applets This applet collection has dozens of applets with the goal of making various mathematical ideas more visual and more interactive. They are split into topics such as algebra, fractions, functions, and geometry.
Math Insight This applet collection is made up of mostly graphing applets for subjects that are rich in data.
APPLETmaths This applet collection is comprised of applets that were created by students and researchers for their research projects. Some topics include roots, angles, and geometry.

Resources Type Description
Factorial! Website This website does a fantastic job of explaining exactly what a factorial is, as well as provides examples of problems with provided solutions. This is a great intro to understanding more about factorials.
Combinations of 52 cards (52 factorial) Video This video doesn't educate on what a factorial is, but rather describes an application that factorials can be used for. In this case, we explore thse amount of combinations a deck of cards can be arranged in, and discover how large that number really is.
Factorial Comic Comic This is a short comic that masterfully shows a misconception by students who are first learning about factorials.
Factorial Prezi by Minh Tran Slide show This slideshow does a great job explaining what a factorial is, the origins of factorials, as well as applications.
The Permutations Combinations Song Song While this song isn't directly related to what we are exploring on this website, it is still a great wway to refresh your memory on what permutations and combinations are, and how to calculate them using factorials.
