Applet Collections
Geogebra Applets

A collection of resources and applets organized by subject and topic. The collections all realate to secondary mathematics concepts.

SFU Calculus Applets

A collection of Calculus applets and their descriptions. Provides various applets relating to different emphasis of Calculus.

MU Math Applets

A collection of resources and applets organized by subject. The subjects cover both secondary and college level topics.

Picciotto Applets

A directory of GeoGebra applets built by Henri Picciotto. These applets are categorized by subject, and cover secondary math content.

Interactivate Activities

A large collection of applets, covering many subject areas. Information, acitivity ideas, and resources are often included with the applets.

Infinity Applets
Tortoise and Hare Race

This applet is based on Zeno's Paradox about Achilles and the tortoise. This applet provides a visual model of "infinite iterations".

Von Koch Snowflake

The Von Koch Snowflake is constructed by adding a triangle on each edge of the previous iteration, resulting in an infinite perimeter.

Infinite Limits and Limits at Infinity Applet

This applet displays a red arrow that can be slid across the piecewise function to observe infinite limits.

N-Gon Perimeter

This applet uses a n-gon to explore the relationship between a more accurate approximation and more subdivisions.

Sum to Infinity of Geometric Sequence

This applet allows for exploration of infinite sums using a geometric sequence of rectangles to determine area.

Brief History of Infinity

Review Column
This review column summarizes some of the history of infinity and how the concept developed and shaped thinking in mathematics.

Countable, Uncountable

Article
This article explains what infinity is, different types of it, the complicated nature of infinity, and historic fears of the concept.

The Infinite Hotel Paradox

Video
This TED-Ed video talks about David Hilbert's infinite hotel paradox, where "even when it's full, the hotel always has room for you".

The Limit Laws

Textbook
This textbook chapter goes over the laws and theorems that govern limits of functions at infinite, and provides examples with table values.

Limits at Infinity

Textbook
This textbook chapter goes over how limits can be used to determine function values as $x$ approaches infinity with graphical examples.
