There are many everyday uses for polynomial equations, but one field in particular uses polynomials on a daily basis,
and probably hundreds of times a week; This field is finance. Polynomial equations are used to calculate the present
day value of assets, to ascertain stock values, compute mortgages, and assist in bond trading. (Dohrman, 2017)
Falling Star.
Along with finances, polynomials are useful in pretty much every STEM field and work space, Astrophysicists use
polynomials to calculate a star's velocity and distance from other things in space. Chemists use polynomials to
calculate pressures of fluid dynamics, and determine compositions of molecules and compounds. In statistics,
polynomials can be used to calculate the predicted birth and death rate of farm animals, and things such as
population growth and monetary flow. Aside from all these contributions, polynomials allow technology to direct
and land spacecraft. This would be a seemingly impossible task without the use of the mathematical knowledge given
with polynomials. (Turner, 2017)
