HOME ASSIGNMENTS FINAL MATH 1050

I first arrived at Utah State in 2016, and began a Bachelor's in physics. I was awarded my Bachelor's with an applied emphasis this past Summer, and also received minors in both mathematics and philosophy. During this time I researched ODE's describing electrophoresis and data analysis on macroscopic photonic crystals.

While working on my Bachelor's I had the opporotunity to teach a few recitation for Calculus II, which provided me with a meaningful experience in teaching while working towards my undergraduate. My original intention was to pursue a PhD in theoretical physics, but the enjoyment I felt while teaching vastly trumped that I felt when researching. I was working under Brynja Kohler, who advised I pursue this further with a Masters in Math Education. I am grateful that this was brought to my attention, and excited to learn the complex skills needed to manage a classroom and guide students through mathematical content.
