Many people enjoy the thrilling ride of a roller coaster, but not very many of them understand the mathematics that make the ride possible and safe. My website will help fill in the blanks. This website will have a general history of roller coasters and how the concept came to be. This website will also attempt to explain the mathematics behind roller coasters in an easy to understand way. Most of the math that goes into creating safe and usable rollercoasters is physics-based, but we can relate other mathematical concepts to roller coasters as well.
