Hello everyone! My name is Courtney Mork. I grew up in Richfield, UT (raise your hand if you know where that is...) and absolutely loved it!
As you can tell, I am studying mathematics and statistics education. My love for mathematics started at a young age as well as my love for helping
and teaching others. The reason I want to be a math teacher can be traced back to my high school math teacher, Mr. Johnson. He always believed in
me and my ability to learn and understand mathematics. He encouraged me to do hard things and to always believe in myself. I want to be able to help
other students in the same way the Mr. Johnson has helped me. I hope that I will be able to live up to this hope and influence my future students for
the better.
