Modular Arithmetic Teaching Strategies

Objective

For my semester project I choose the topic of modular arithmetic. My goal for this project is to present alternate forms for teaching topics in abstract algebra. From my research presented in this project I hope to present a case for introducing these mathematical topics to students in earlier grades. My hope for this project is that once people view these materials presented here, they will open up to the posibility of introducing some of these more advances mathematical topics to students in lower grades levels. I believe that introducing these topics early on is possible through the propper teaching strategies and in doing this, we will prepare future generations for fruitful careers in mathematics.
