Joshua K. Dimick

Hello,

I feel a short introduction to my life and interests would make this page have a little more flavor. I was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico 1986 as the oldest boy with three younger sisters to follow. My family moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho when I was three were I attended Fox Hollow Elementary enjoying soccer, baseball, basketball, ice hockey and multiplication tables.

At age 11, I moved to Slaterville, Utah I attending Rocky Mtn. Jr. High and then Fremont High School. Continuing to enjoy ice hockey I added cross country running and lacrosse to my sports while learning algebra, geometry, and calculus. Following high school graduation I spent two years in France serving as a Christian missionary and proudly learning the French language as best I could.

Afterwards, I attended University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah and played lacrosse with the club lacrosse team. It was here that I met the love of my life working at the University Campus Store together for which I will be grateful to the day I die. It was also here I learned I wanted to get a degree in Mathematics teaching while taking courses in multivariable calculus, linear algebra, differential equations, and statistics. Following my wedding, I felt that Utah State was the best option in Utah for my degree and so moved with my wife up to Logan Utah. I have studied introductions to topics such as analysis, linear regression, probability, design of experiments, and courses on teaching methods for mathematics and statistics.

I enjoy mathematics, statistics, and generally figuring stuff out. Other hobbies include hiking, running, frisbee, racquetball, referring hockey, drawing, and ice skating with my Sweetheart.
