Acid Base Titrations!

Objectives:
1) Students will recognize the relationship between the concentrations, volumes, and the equivalence point of acid base titrations.
2) Students will become more familiar with the general properties of titration curves and will be able to relate these properties to a titration.

This is a Java Applet created using GeoGebra from www.geogebra.org - it looks like you don't have Java installed, please go to www.java.com

Questions:
1) What happened to the solution once the volume added to the solution was equal to the equivalence  point? Why do you think this occured?
2) What did you notice about the pH at the equivalence point?
3) How do you think the titration curve would differ if we were titrating a base with acid instead of an acid with a base?
