This is to let you explore the values of the trigonometric functions; sine, cosine, and tangent. Remember that the sine of the angle is the ratio of the opposite leg to the hypotenuse, the cosine is the ratio of teh adjacent leg to the hypotenuse, and the tangent is the ratio of the opposite leg to the adjacent leg.

Since this is a unit circle, the radius is always one. So what does that say about the hypotenuse?

Then what would be the value of sin(α) given the information above?

And the value of cos(α)?

Notice the value of the number e to the left under Auxiliary Objects. How does it relate to sine, cosine, and tangent?
