My name is Mae Toone. I am in my senior year of college at USU (GO AGGIES) and and majoring in Mathematics Education.
I love math and can't wait till I have my own classroom so I can help my students to love math too.
I recently just got into reading about a year ago, and have been obsessed ever since. I consider it one of my favorite hobbies now, and could talk about it for hours on end. Some of my favorite series include: Powerless Trilogy, Six of Crows Duology, The Prison Healer Trilogy,
The Hunger Games, and The Caraval Trilogy.
I love anything revolving around movies, I love watching them, talking about them, looking at behind the scene footage, creating top ten lists, and analyzing characters in these said shows and movies. I love quoting movies, and it is my family and I's favorite activity to do to pass the time.
I also love doing anything outside. I love going on hikes, playing sports, especially pickleball and throwing the football around with my brothers, and going on walks, and laying out in the sun.
I work for my families landscaping buisness, Lost Creek Landscape, and it is one of my most favorite things on the planet. My dad grew up on a farm and wanted to create a way for us kids to also learn the value in hard work and so he started up the landscaping company with us. I have been doing this as long as I can remember, every summer dedicating all my time to it and every saturday spent together working no matter the weather.
I love everything that comes with it, I love working with my brothers and the feeling of accomplishment when finishing different projects. Learning how to use different equipment and tools has been a highlight for me as well. I love it.
My Family
Something everyone should know about me is how much I love my family. I could talk about them all day everyday and most of the time do. I am the happiest when
I am with them. Even if we are just playing games, watching movies, or even just talking in the living room, I cannot picture a more perfect way to spend my time.
My parents are the sweetest people on the planet and I can't even put in to words how much I love them. My mom,
Brooke is so selfless with her time and has so many talents that she is constantly sharing with others.
By dad, Ryan is the hardest worker I know and has always taught me the importance of working hard and treating others with kindess.
I have 3 brothers who I adore with my whole heart. Jake is my oldest brother (he is 27) and just got married in August to his wife Hailey.
We love to yap on and on about music, movies, and make people around us laugh. He is the sweetest brother ever and has always been someone I love to be around and someone I want my humor to be just like.
Coop is my next oldest brother (he is 25), he is dating his girlfriend Gabby who I call Gababster, and they are just the cutest couple
I think I have ever seen. Along with my dad, Coop is a hard worker and has always been someone I look up to in every way.
Then there is me, I am the third youngest (I am 22). Which leaves just my youngest brother Greg (he is 18). His name isn't really Greg,
his name is actually Garrett, but about 8 years ago I started calling him Greg as in Gregory Heffley from Diary of a Wimpy Kid and it has stuck.
