Heidi grew up in Tucson, Arizona with her parents, five sisters, and two dogs. She loves the Sonoran Desert and being in the mountains. Her favorite fun fact about herself is that she has a metal spine.

Heidi is currently a Math Education Major at Utah State University. She hopes to student teach in Spring 2025 to one day become a math teacher.

Since beginning her college education in Fall 2021, Heidi has been living in Logan, Utah. When asked about her experience at USU, she said: "I love everything about USU... except the cold."

"If you ever need to find me, odds are I'm in the math department. I practically live there!"
Heidi enjoys helping other students as a recitation leader and as an "Aggie Math Learning Center" Assistant for USU's math department. When asked about what she liked about working for the AMLC, she said "I love helping students truly understand! I love seeing the 'aha' moment after working with my students."

Heidi enjoys all sorts of arts and crafts. When she has spare time, she likes to draw, paint, doodle, or make earrings. Heidi has a large earring collection, and loves wearing a different pair everyday to "mix things up".
