Mathematics and Personal Finance

Introduction

As our world becomes increasingly more invested in the idea of taking charge over your own life and ensuring that you are living it how you want, students are starting to question their teachers more than ever. The questions of "Why does this matter?" and "e;How is this going to help me in the future?" are being asked by students every day and in every class. Mathematics is often a subject that is said to have little implications in the real world, and that as long as you know how to use a calculator you may never have to do math again once your education is done. This however is far from the truth, and the moment adulthood hits and there are groceries to buy, bills to pay, and budgets to follow, one would be increasingly more prepared if the mathematics they learned in middle school and high school were stored in their mind.
