Sine Transformation

GeoGebra Applet Description of Resource Why it is Interesting
Transformation of a Polynomial Function As the name suggest, this applet lets the user apply a variety of transformations to any polynomial function and see how the transformation changes the function. This was one of the concepts I struggled with when I learned it in high school. I think it is is just a simple way to explore different transformation how the function changes when a transformation is applied to the function.
Unit Circle for Sine and Cosine This applet tries to show the relationship between the measurements of a point on the unit circle and the definition of the sine and cosine functions. Like the above applet, I like this one for similar reasons. When I learned the unit circle I didn't associate it the sine and cosine graphs. This applet shows how they relate and why the unit circle is the way it is.
Fraction Division The applet lets the user visually see how to divide a number by a fraction. This is an interesting applet since it helps the user to understand how a number is divided by a fraction.
Triangle Vocabulary This applet provides a visual representation of a variety of triangle vocabulary terms. This is a simple applet but it has a lot to offer. Not only can the user see and compare different vocabulary terms but can more importantly see how each term changes as the triangle changes.
Lights Out Game 'Lights Out' is a classic game of logic. The user starts with a five-by-five grid of cells and clicks a cell to changes its state, along with its four neighbours. This is a fun applet that makes the user use logic to solve a variety of puzzles. I like it because it feels like the user is playing a game but is practicing logic skills.
