Applets
TitleDiscription
Boarder LineThis applet helps kids to identify the slope of an equation and what it looks like on a coordinate plane. It is also a fun game.
Plinko ProbabilityThis applet simulates the a game of chance called Plinko. It shows the the number of balls that fall into each slot and the statistics of the entire experiment.
Algebra FourThis applet is a game that involves solving linear equations and playing Connect Four.
Similar TrianglesThis applet allows certain point to move for the user to discover properties of similar triangles.
Angles at Parallel LinesThis applet shows the user where certain types of angles are when dealing with parallel lines.

Website Resources
TitleDiscriptionHow it can be useful
Geometer's Sketchpad ResourceHas pre-made material and material to help you start on your own. Can be used for ideas in geometry for interactive lessons as a class or as individuals.
Algebra Instructional Videos This site has instructional videos for many topics in algebra.A great resource for me to give my students for extra explanation and instruction on different concepts.
Math BitsThis site has many resources such as help working with graphing calculators, powerpoint activities, math in movie lessons, and Geometer's Sketchpad.Lots of different ideas and activies that can be incorporated into lessons. The graphing item is a great resource to give students to help them to better understand how to work their calculators.
Math and Logic ProblemsMath and logic problems for every grade and subject in grade school.I good source for critical thinking problems in all subjects.
Math WorksheetsMath worksheets for every content area in the core curriculum.Great place to look for example problems or lessons to help student achieve curriculum objectives.
Get the MathSix different Algebra inquiry lessons that deal with real life.Inquiry lessons that use Algebra in real life situations that would be great to use in class or for a homework assignment.
PBS Learning Activities and learning resources sorted by grade or subject to help students learn. Resource to find learning activies or different ideas for teaching a topic.
IXLProblems and instruction on every grade or subject in grade school.Great resource for students to have extra help and understanding at home, but can also be used in the classroom as well.
Donald in Mathmagic LandA video about geometry in our world. Use as clips to start geometry lessons or to show students how much geometry is used in our world.
Geometric Figures Printables Printables for 3-dimentional shapes.Use for hadouts for students for learning activities about surface area or volume.

GeoGebratube Applets
TitleDiscriptionWhy I Find It Interesting
Graph the LineAllows user to practice constructing linear equations on a coordinate plane.I thought this was an applet that I could use as a teacher to allow my students to practice constructing linear equation on a coordinate system in class or at home.
Equivalent FractionsShows a visual representation about how large fractions can be simplified to an equivalent form.I thought this was a fun way to show students that what they were doing on paper visually to help them understand it better. Show them that when they are dividing by 1 that it doesn't change the value, it still looks the same.
Factoring/ Multipication of a SquareShows a visual representation of multiplication of a square. It will show the students a geometric visual of what they are doing to help them understand it better.
Shading Venn DiagramsAllows the user to discover or help better understand sets and set notation. This is a great visual representation of set notation and is a good way to introduce or practice it with my students.
Transformation of FunctionsAllows students to see the graphs of squared, cubed, absolute value, and square root equation and shows the transformations of those functions.I thought this ways an awesome way to get students to discover transformations on their own. I also liked that it gave a lot of examples.
