Golden Spiral
Use the following applet to create a golden spiral from a golden rectangle.
This is done by taking a golden rectangle and creating a square inside whose side length with equal to the short side of the rectangle. Then, repeat this process with resulting golden rectangle created in the space left over in the rectangle by the square. Finally, create curves through each square.
Objective: Students will discover the relationship between a golden rectangle and a golden spiral.
