My name is Erika Ewing. I’m from Logan, Utah and attend USU. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, as well as running, going to the movies, cooking pancakes and doing anything outside!

I can’t wait to be a teacher! Being a teacher is something I’ve always wanted to do ever since I was little. When I was younger, I thought being a teacher would be fun because you could make up homework assignments, grade them, and have a cool classroom. As I’ve grown and learned, I’ve come to realize that teaching is much more than grading papers and decorating a classroom.

Knowledge is power. The more we learn, the more prone we are to succeed.

One of my favorite quotes is by Abraham Lincoln, “I do not think much of a man who is not wiser today than he was yesterday.” Teaching will help shape the future of the youth and give them a chance at success, making them wiser every day, growing and progressing.
