Pythagorean Theorem Applets:
• Jim Morey Applet: This applet shows that the sum of the ares of the smaller squares equals the area of the large one.
• NLVM Pythagorean Applet: Solve two puzzles that illustrate the proof of the Pythagorean Theorem.
• NLVM Pythagorean Trig Exploration: Practice using the Pythagorean theorem and the definitions of the trigonometric functions to solve for unknown sides and angles of a right triangle.
• The Theorem of Pythagoras: In the investigation on this web page, you will learn more about the Pythagorean Theorem and see whether or not it works for triangles that are not right triangles.
• Manipula Math Area Applet: This applet allows you to see (in a different way than Jim Morey applet) that the areas of the two smaller squares add up to the area of the large square.
